Plot
Elphaba, a misunderstood young woman because of her green skin, and Glinda, a popular girl, become friends at Shiz University in the Land of Oz. After meeting the Wonderful Wizard of Oz, their friendship reaches a crossroads… Discover the painterly mastery of Ariana Grande, the playing brilliance of Cynthia Erivo, the ear-splitting trickery of Jeff Goldblum, the artistic flair of Marisa Bode's and Ethan Slater’s Secret Armor Skill on Broadway.. Practical sets were built and augmented with CGI rather than being shot on green or blue screens. Chu wanted the world of Oz to feel like a real place, not just a computer-generated backdrop.

This includes planting 9 million tulips to serve as part of the Munchkinland landscape. In the classroom scene where Elphaba makes the flowers rise into the air and the pollen sends the students to sleep, you can clearly see a wire hanging one of the flowers as it moves. It will be interesting if this is corrected for the streaming and DVD release of the film. The Wizard: [from trailer] The best way to bring people together is to give them a real good enemy. The film’s title uses a similar font style to the opening titles of The Wizard of Oz (1939).

No One Complains About the Evil Written by Stephen Schwartz Performed by Ariana Grande, Andy Nieman, Courtney May-Briggs, Jeff Goldblum, Sharon D. I just got out of Wicked and all I can say is wow. I bought tickets for my wife and I because she is a huge theater fan. I like theater myself, but I’m not overly enthusiastic. I didn’t know much about Wicked other than the general plot and the person I was missing.
The movie is nothing short of fantastic
Cynthia Erivo is a marvel, but Ariana Grande really steals the show. I couldn’t help but laugh in every scene she’s in. There’s no doubt in my mind that she’s going to be nominated for an Oscar and I hope she brings it home. Erivo’s final scene/song is breathtaking and I can’t stop thinking about it. Although it’s a bit long – two and a half hours – it certainly flies by and every frame is gorgeous.
I can’t wait to watch it again
